Welcome to our new players and their families and welcome back to our returning
players and their families to Crown Point Lacrosse!

 

This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation, and submit payment.

Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately. 

To complete registration through our secure site, please have your payment (credit/debit card or bank account) information available.


Crown Point Lacrosse 12U

12U Boys Lacrosse is open to Boys and Girls.

 

Welcome to our new players and their families and welcome back to our returning players and their families to Crown Point Lacrosse!

 

We are excited to be in our 9th youth season and love watching the progression of our teams. Several of our former youth coaches from seasons past will be joining us again this year as it promises to be even better than the one before it.

 

This season our youth teams will again join the IBLA (Illinois Boys Lacrosse Association) League which will provide us with more teams to play and a hopefully a proper schedule. Over the course of the next season, our 12U team will practice, play, scrimmage, and compete over and over and will attend up to 2 travel tournaments.

 

Indoor practices begin once weekly in February and move outdoors twice a week by the end of March. Games will begin in early April and conclude in early June.

 

(12U lacrosse is open to boys and girls, US Lacrosse boys lacrosse game play and rules apply and full gear is required)

 

 

Team Philosophy & Expectations

14U & 12U

The mission of the Crown Point Lacrosse club shall be to provide student athletes and families with an opportunity to develop their lacrosse skills in a safe environment that promotes personal growth and excellence while fostering teamwork, leadership, scholarship, and respect for others and self. Also to develop players skill in a competitive environment that prepares them to compete and contribute to the best of their abilities during their years of playing for Crown Point Lacrosse Club and beyond.

 

The 14U and 12U players will be considered transitioning from developmental to competitive play. The participants will continue to build on essential basic skills while introducing the player to more advanced lacrosse skills. We wish to provide a positive experience by utilizing the learned skill sets during competitive playwhile nurturing cooperation and sportsmanship.

 

Each player is expected to participate equally at practice and other lacrosse team events. We realize some players may not be at all practices while others will be at more practices. As such, we must remain fair and equitable to the player’s playtime in direct proportion to participation levels. Also, the participant’s skill level will be continually evaluated during practice and games. We will do our very best to create proportional playtime for each participant based on participation and skill evaluation.

 

We thank you for your understanding and cooperation with the goals and expectations of the 14U and 12U teams. We hope each participant has fun while taking their lacrosse game to the next level.

Please subscribe/friend these services to receive all team updates and remember to check your email for pertinent information or opportunities.

2022 Fees & Fundraising

2021 TEAM REGISTRATION FEE - $250*

Families with multiple players will receive a $25 discount for the 2nd, 3rd player. Families with multiple players may also have the option of splitting the payment in half, with the balance due February 1, 2022.

Payments can be made online by credit card again this year. Please note that a 3% +$1 fee will be added to your registration fee to cover the cost of credit card processing should you choose to pay online. Or if you'd rather, payments will be accepted via check, thus avoiding the 3% + $1 service fee.  Please make checks payable to “Crown Point Lacrosse” if you opt to pay via check.

Additionally, ALL PLAYERS will be required to participate in the fundraising activities as outlined in the FUNDRAISING section.

FUNDRAISING

We are a self-supported, not-for-profit organization and depend on the monies raised by organized fundraising activities and business donations. Fundraising is essential to the continuation and growth of this program. Monies raised in fundraising will help purchase team equipment, indoor practice space, coaching and league/tournament fees.

All players are required to participate in the fundraising activities provided by the program You will have 2 fundraising options:

1. Purchase $100 worth of raffle tickets (10 @ 10$ each) to either keep for yourself or sell to others.

2. Solicit a Business/Corporation/friend/family to sponsor a player and sell 0 raffle tickets.
 

If a player/family solicits a $250 Business/Corporate Sponsorship will satisfy the requirement for the first 10 raffle tickets.

For families with multiple players, additional raffle card responsibility can be eliminated as follows:

a $100 sponsorship will satisfy 5 more raffle tickets.

a $500 sponsorship will satisfy the entire fundraising responsibility for any family.

BUSINESS/CORPORATE SPONSORS

Crown Point Lacrosse is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt corporation, meaning a donation to CP Lacrosse is tax deductible! We have “Crown Point Lacrosse Fundraising Brochures” that can be given to a local business or corporation explaining lacrosse and how a donation will be used to fund team expenses. A one page “Business Sponsorship Form” is also available.

REFUND POLICY

100% if request is made prior to the start of indoor practices.

50% refund if request is made after the start of indoor practices and prior to the first outdoor practice.

No refunds will be issued after the start of the 1st outdoor practice.

Refunds apply to registration fees only

US LACROSSE REQUIREMENT

You must register first with US Lacrosse and then return to this Registration Session to signup.  If you have not already signed up with US Lacrosse, please follow these steps:

  • Step 1:  Obtain a US Lacrosse Membership
    • IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A CURRENT US LACROSSE MEMBERSHIP:  CLICK HERE
      •  Each athlete must have their own unique US Lacrosse membership
    • TO LOOK UP/RENEW A US LACROSSE MEMBERSHIP:  CLICK HERE
  • Step 2:  Return to this registration and proceed. Later in this registration session you will need to enter the US Lacrosse Membership ID that you received in Step 1.
